Cost of Byron Bay Wedding Photography

What it costs, plainly.

Three collections, four things you can add to them, and a real number next to each. If none of it fits your day, say so and I will build you something that does.

How this works

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. Step 01

    You get in touch

Date, place, and roughly what you are picturing. I reply within 24 hours, always.

  2. Step 02

    We actually talk

A call or a coffee. I want to hear some of your story before either of us signs anything.

  3. Step 03

    Booking form and deposit

A 25% deposit holds the date. The balance is due a month out.

  4. Step 04

    I show up and work

Your gallery lands within a month. Film frames take a little longer.

Questions

Everything couples ask me.

How far ahead should we book?

Most couples book 12 to 18 months out. I take a limited number of weddings each year so I can give every one of them proper attention, so Byron Bay dates in peak season tend to go early. If your date is close, ask anyway — sometimes it works.

Do you travel beyond Byron Bay?

Constantly. The Northern Rivers and the Gold Coast are home ground, and I have shot weddings and elopements across Australia and overseas. Travel beyond the region is quoted on the day and the distance, not a fixed fee.

We are awkward in front of a camera. Is that a problem?

Almost everyone says this, and it is almost never true by the end of the day. I am not going to run you through a shot list or arrange you on a bed of roses. I document what is actually happening, which means most of the day you will forget I am working. A couple session beforehand helps if you would like the practice.

When do we get our photos?

Up to a month for the full edited gallery. If you have booked film, those frames can take a little longer depending on the lab.

How does payment work?

Simple as I can make it. You sign the booking form, I invoice the deposit, and the balance is due one month before the day.

Do you carry backup gear?

Always. Multiple camera bodies, a spread of lenses, and considerably more memory cards than any one wedding needs.

What if you are already booked for our date?

I will tell you straight away, and point you to photographers I would trust with my own wedding. I would rather do that than take a booking I cannot do justice.

Send me your date.

If I am free, I will tell you straight away. If I am not, I will point you somewhere good.
